Report

Golden State Highway is closed-off at Frenchman's Flat Day Use Area. From here, it's 1.7 miles of road walking through Piru Gorge to the start of the Slide Mountain Trail.

Slide Mountain comes into view on the left.

After about a mile, the trail reduces to singletrack.
